So I don’t know the details, but there are studies that demonstrate being able to stand on 1 leg for a certain period of time is supposed to increase your longevity. I think its mainly because when we take a tumble, this is where we can break things and these injuries can have a detrimental effect.
Still, no harm putting a little conscious awareness into how we stand and move, even if we are a long way from struggling to balance on 1 leg.
I taught this version at an acrobatic convention a while back and some seasoned acrobats were commenting that it was too strong!
